O Father, I Call on You Prayer Book Series

Our Story

A Mother’s Heart. A Father’s Faithfulness.

  1. Front cover of Alphabet of Us by O. E. Josephine: a mother and her son rest their foreheads together against a glowing sunset.

    It Began With Words

I thought about my son leaving for college.

I wondered what I could give him

that life could never take away.

    That desire became

    Alphabet of Us.

  2. Front cover of O Father, I Pray for My Son by O. E. Josephine: a mother prays beside an open Bible as her son walks a lit path.

    When Words Were Not Enough

I felt the Holy Spirit remind me—

    words were not enough.

    He needed Heaven’s backing.

So I began calling on the Father for my son.

    Those prayers became

O Father, I Pray for My Son.

  3. Front cover of O Father, I Pray for Myself by O. E. Josephine: a woman in cream holds her hands to her heart, framed by angels and white flowers.

    Then Came Prayer for Me

    While praying for my son,

I realized the woman doing all the

    praying needed the Father too.

    Those prayers became

O Father, I Pray for Myself.

  4. A mother prays with clasped hands beside an open Bible and a cup of coffee while her son walks a sunlit path toward the hills.

    And Then I Understood

This was more than three books.

    It was one unfolding journey—

a mother learning to call on the Father

    for every area of life.

    And that became

O Father, I Call on You Prayer Book Series.

Perhaps prayer begins when love reaches the limitsof what our own hands can accomplish.

We call because He hears.

We pray because there are places we cannot reach.

We trust because Heaven can.

This is only the beginning.
